Gear UP! Steering Committee Meeting in Riga, Latvia

On November 6th, the #EU DEAR Programme project “Gear UP!” held its Steering committee meeting in Riga, bringing together sixteen partners from eight EU countries including civil society organizations and local authorities. This is the second time all project partners have met in person.

The project’s lead partner is Italy’s Marche Region. Together with the lead partner, The Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation (LAPAS) and Riga City Council organized and hosted the steering committee in Riga.

Highlights from the Steering Committee Meeting

Project partners discussed vital planning topics, including third parties’ support, communication strategy, upcoming training sessions and other activities. Excitingly, some partners are launching national-level project calls already this year, with more to come early next year—stay tuned!
