CROSOL – Croatian Platform for International Citizen Solidarity, in collaboration with partners Glopolis and Malý Berlín, has begun the implementation of the PROSECO project. This project is funded by Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV)
The PROSECO project aims to empower civil society organisations in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, and Slovenia to promote EU values and rights. The project focuses on building national and transnational ecosystems of cooperation that protect civic space and increase the resilience of civil society organisations.
PROSECO will establish joint monitoring, analysis, and reporting on the civic space of civil society organisations in the four countries. It will also strengthen cooperation, dialogue, and best practices for a resilient civil society among organisations, their networks, and other stakeholders at the local, national, and EU levels.
The project will map and share best practices using its own methodology and will prepare a public campaign on civil society resilience in the four countries and at the EU level.
This project represents a significant step towards strengthening civil society in the region and promoting the core values of the European Union.
